Jo has over 15 years’ experience providing systems engineering consultancy to defence with specific expertise and achievement in technical delivery of projects within the C4ISTAR domain. She has experience at the business and system design level, including planning and oversight of complex work programmes undertaken by multi-disciplinary and consortium based development teams.
David Bangert, Polaris’ Managing Director, and Neil Davies, ex MOD Chief Economist, gave a paper at the Annual Conference of the Society for Cost Analysis and Forecasting (SCAF) in London on 15 September 2015. The paper focused on the challenges which cost escalation pose towards current and future defence programmes, with a response from Professor Trevor Taylor of RUSI. Ryan has been with Polaris since 2015 and is an analyst for the company with a BA(Hons) in War and Security Studies from the University of Hull. With a background in International Politics and Strategic Studies, Ryan was hired as a graduate and has since worked on a number of tasks, particularly in Operational Research and Analysis. He has provided support to tasks for a range of customers and the company itself, covering a wide range of subjects and approaches.
